Stones in the throat are more often tonsil stones, and the main cause of this type of disease is caused by recurrent tonsillitis, as well as not paying attention to oral hygiene. Treatment can be conservative, such as local tonsil massage to promote stone discharge, or crypt irrigation, but the long-term treatment is generally not particularly good. If accompanied by recurrent sore throat or recurrent purulent tonsillitis, tonsillectomy can be used. Because tonsil stones exist inside the tonsils, removing the tonsils leaves no place for the stones to exist, so this is a radical treatment. Be sure to maintain oral hygiene, and go to the dentist for further treatment if periodontitis, calculus, or other diseases are present.
