Episodic premature contractions are those that occur less than five times a minute and are called episodic. There are many reasons for the occurrence of episodic premature beats, but they are usually functional, for example, patients may drink strong tea, coffee, alcohol, milk tea or cola, which may lead to episodic premature beats. In addition, overexertion, mental stress, poor sleep, insomnia may also cause premature contractions. When the patient is emotionally excited or too sad, premature contractions may occur, but no special treatment is needed. In some cases, premature beats may also occur when there is fever or inflammation, but they may disappear after the inflammation improves or the fever subsides.
