Refrigerated breast milk preservation time

The storage time of breastmilk in the refrigerator freezer is prolonged as the temperature decreases, and is also related to the time and times of opening the door. If the temperature in the refrigerator freezer is between 0℃ and 4℃, it can be kept for up to 2 days. If the refrigerator door always opens and closes, it is impossible to keep the temperature constant, and in order to prevent the deterioration of breast milk, it can only be kept for 24 hours. Breast milk is rich in nutrients and is the best food for babies. If you cannot breastfeed on time for various reasons, breastfeeding mothers can express the milk in advance and keep it in the refrigerator freezer. Considering the daily use of the refrigerator and the number of times the refrigerator door is opened, it is recommended to try to drink it within 24 hours of storage to avoid wasting it due to expiration or the infant’s discomfort performance such as diarrhea after drinking it. It is recommended that breast milk be kept in the emergency room for about 3 months, and that it be thawed in the freezer before consumption, and then heated for consumption, not directly.
