Synovitis of the leg and knee generally refers to synovitis of the knee joint. Symptoms of synovitis of the knee joint mainly include pain, swelling and functional limitation.
1. Pain and swelling: the cause of knee synovitis is unknown at present, and it is mainly related to the degenerative disease of the knee joint or joint injury. Synovitis will lead to synovial membrane hyperplasia, during the movement process of the joint on the synovial membrane extrusion, impact will appear inflammatory factors, pain symptoms; at the same time, synovial membrane hyperplasia after the secretion of synovial fluid increased significantly, so that the joints are obviously swollen.
2. Functional limitation: knee synovitis will lead to joint space narrowing and intra-articular aging, and the cartilage will be damaged to varying degrees, due to pain, swelling and joint structure abnormalities during activities, extension and flexion function will be limited. As the disease progresses, the synovial folds gradually thicken, leading to joint instability and affecting the normal function of the joint.
