Can Stem Cells Treat Menopause

Menopause is a normal physiological phenomenon that occurs in women as they age and does not require special treatment. However, stem cell therapy can be used to treat menopause due to premature ovarian failure.
Natural menopause is caused by the physiological depletion of follicles in the ovaries or by the failure of gonadotropins to act on the follicles, so that the follicles do not continue to develop and produce estrogen. It is a necessary part of every woman’s life and does not require any special treatment. It is enough to maintain a comfortable mood, eat a regular diet and exercise actively.
However, for pathological menopause caused by premature ovarian failure, stem cell therapy is currently effective. Stem cell therapy is to input stem cells into the patient’s blood vessels and then transplant them into the ovarian tissues along with the blood circulation, and then make use of the self-renewal and differentiation ability of the stem cells to promote the generation of ovarian cells, improve the ovarian function, and delay ovarian failure, so as to achieve the purpose of treating menopause.
Stem cell therapy needs to be formulated according to one’s own condition after consulting with a relevant doctor, and should not be attempted without authorization.
