Spermatic cysts, also known as spermatic cord syringomyelia, may be caused by congenital causes, testicular or epididymal injuries, filariasis, physical injuries and so on.
1. Congenital causes: the spermatic cord sheath did not close during the fetal period, the fluid in the abdominal cavity enters into the spermatic cord cavity, the abnormal closure of the sheath will cause the fluid to collect in the spermatic cord sheath cavity, and then form spermatic cord sheath effusion, which is also known as spermatic cord cyst.
2. Testicular or epididymal injury: male testicular or epididymal injury, epididymitis, spermatitis, external injury, stimulation of the spermatic cord sheath membrane to produce a large amount of fluid, which will cause spermatic cord syringomyelia.
3. Filariasis: Filariasis is a kind of parasitic disease, which can cause lymphatic blockage and induce spermatic cord syringomyelia.
4. Physical injuries: Serious injuries to the abdomen and groin can easily irritate the spermatic cord and damage the lymphatic vessels, which can lead to spermatic sheath effusion.
Seminal cord syringomyelia may also be caused by other factors, serious cases are recommended to go to the regular hospital in time to avoid blindly using their own medication.
