Common causes of external oblique pain include strenuous exercise, nerve injury to the external oblique muscle, inflammatory lesions or physiologic pain caused by excessive exercise.
1. Strenuous exercise: muscle strain caused by strenuous exercise can appear subcutaneous hemorrhage and edema phenomenon, which can be accompanied by abdominal obliquity pain symptoms.
2. Abdominal obliquity nerve injury: the nervous system is closely related to the muscle power of the human body, and the injury of the abdominal obliquity nerve will cause the muscle it innervates, the abdominal obliquity muscle, to experience severe pain.
3. Inflammatory lesions: Inflammation of the external abdominal oblique muscle, such as congestion, edema and other internal pathological changes in the muscle, can lead to the inability to use the muscle normally, which is manifested as local pain.
4. Physiological pain: such as excessive abdominal exercise leads to the accumulation of lactic acid in the muscles of the external abdominal oblique muscle, stimulating the surrounding nerve endings, which can cause the external abdominal oblique muscle soreness, and generally can be relieved after rest.
If the pain in the external abdominal oblique muscle is not relieved after resting, it is recommended to consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
