What are the emotions?

  In the clinic, we often meet patients who come to the clinic and tell us their pain: Doctor, I am in a bad mood, I can’t be happy, I want to lose my temper and so on. So what is emotion, is it the same as mood?  What is mood?  When it comes to emotions, they are often inseparable from psychological behavior. Psychologically, emotions are psychological and physiological states that arise from a combination of multiple feelings, thoughts and behaviors. The common emotional reactions we have in life include: joy, anger, sadness, shock, fear, love, etc. There are also some delicate and subtle emotions such as jealousy, shame, shame, pride, etc. Emotions, whether positive or negative2, can cause people to be motivated to act. In life, words that can easily be used in common with emotions are: mood, feeling, emotional state, etc. Here I will focus on the emotions that people often talk about, i.e. the emotions or moods that plague most patients.  What are the emotional states that often bother people?  There are positive and negative emotions. Usually positive emotions such as happiness, joy, pride, etc., are usually those that promote a healthy life and do not require special treatment. Emotions that often plague people’s lives include depression, anxiety, irritability, fear, etc. Common complaints from patients in outpatient clinics include: unhappiness, bad mood, irritability, fidgeting, fear, feeling dead, sadness, etc.  What can negative emotions bring?  Long-term life depression, negative emotions are not released and relieved, which will have an impact on the physical and mental health of patients. For example, most patients not only report bad mood, irritability, etc., often accompanied by dizziness, general weakness, muscle pain, panic, chest tightness, sweating, fever, gastrointestinal discomfort, sweating back and other physical discomfort, and affect the patient’s sleep, resulting in insomnia and other sleep disorders, poor diet and other accompanying symptoms.  Therefore, we need to face emotions, negative emotions need to be treated correctly, if necessary, you can seek help from a psychologist, and long-term bad mood, bad sleep, panic, fatigue and other physical discomfort, you need to go to a regular psychological clinic to seek help to solve.
