After your child develops strabismus, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to improve the examination, because different severity of strabismus and different types of strabismus have different treatment methods. Strabismus can be categorized into internal strabismus, external strabismus and vertical strabismus. If it is external strabismus or vertical strabismus, it can be observed conservatively in the early stage when the degree of strabismus is relatively small. If the degree of strabismus becomes very large at a later stage, affecting the development of the child’s visual function, it can only be corrected by surgery. In the case of internal strabismus, it can be categorized into adjustable internal strabismus and non-adjustable internal strabismus.
