How long does baby’s anorexia last?

Infant anorexia mostly appears around 3-4 months of age and usually lasts 10-14 days, individual infants can last about 4 weeks. Usually, the growth rate of infants at 3-4 months decreases gradually and the lactose enzyme in their body starts to decrease, the taste of the tongue starts to change, the sense of sight and hearing have a breakthrough, they start to be curious about their surroundings and like to explore, and they are easily distracted from breastfeeding. If the baby’s mental state is good, the growth curve is normal and no other abnormalities occur, there is no need to worry. During the anorexia period, parents are advised to let their babies eat less and eat more, carry them out more and consume more calories, and promote gastrointestinal motility by applying heat to the abdomen and rubbing the belly clockwise to increase appetite.
