Apatinib is not used in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Apatinib is a small molecule anti-angiogenesis targeted anti-tumor drug, which can significantly prolong the survival of patients with advanced gastric cancer by inhibiting the generation of new blood vessels in tumor tissues. It is indicated for patients with advanced gastric adenocarcinoma or adenocarcinoma of the gastro-esophageal junction that has progressed or recurred after receiving at least 2 previous systemic chemotherapies. The use of Apatinib should be strictly controlled by the indications, pancreatic cancer is not an indication for this drug, and it can not be used for chemotherapy in patients with pancreatic cancer. During the use of the drug, patients may experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite; abnormal liver function indexes such as elevated transaminases and alkaline phosphatase; and impaired blood system manifestations such as leukopenia, granulocytopenia and thrombocytopenia. In addition, hypersensitivity should be prohibited; for patients with active bleeding, ulcers, intestinal perforation, intestinal obstruction, within 30 days after major surgery, drug-uncontrollable hypertension, grade 3-4 cardiac insufficiency (NYHA criteria), severe hepatic and renal insufficiency (grade 4) should be prohibited. Apatinib is not used in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. It is recommended that patients with pancreatic cancer go to regular hospitals to receive regular treatment and do not self-medicate.
