Why Lupitecan for advanced pancreatic cancer

Lupitecan is a new generation of semi-synthetic camptothecin derivatives, which is a topoisomerase I inhibitor. It has been proven to be effective in most malignant tumors, especially in foreign phase II-III clinical studies, which found that this drug has better efficacy in pancreatic cancer. At present, our department is conducting a phase IIA clinical study on lupitecan for advanced pancreatic cancer and gastric cancer (recurrent treatment). Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer or small cell lung cancer diagnosed by pathology and/or cytology; 2. Tumor lesions with objective measurements, i.e., according to “efficacy criteria for solid tumors: longest diameter greater than or equal to 20 mm by conventional measurement techniques, or greater than or equal to 10 mm by spiral scan”; 3. 1 score, expected survival greater than or equal to 3 months; 4. Age range: 18-70 years; 5. More than or equal to 3 weeks from the previous surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other anti-tumor treatment. If the chemotherapy drug is nitrosoureas and Silymycin C, the drug should be stopped for more than 6 weeks; 6. The organ function is basically normal.
