What causes scrotal dampness

Scrotal dampness refers to abnormal symptoms such as excessive sweating, dampness or coldness of the scrotal skin without obvious organic lesions. Long-term damp scrotum is prone to inflammation and itching, and there are two causes of scrotal dampness. It is possible that it is caused by physiological factors, because the heat in the local environment where the scrotum is located cannot be distributed in a timely manner, which can lead to an increase in the local temperature, accompanied by an increase in the secretion of sweat from the scrotal skin, which can lead to the symptoms of dampness in the scrotum. Physiological sweating, prolonged sitting, or wearing tight underwear may trigger it. There are many pathological factors, such as chronic prostatitis, varicocele or scrotal eczema, which may cause scrotal dampness.
