Can pharyngitis cause kidney disease?

Pharyngitis can trigger patients to develop kidney disease. There are many lymphoid tissues inside the throat, which mainly play the function of immunity, and when the body’s resistance decreases, there will be invasion of bacteria and viruses, and these immune organs may undergo immune response and produce a series of symptoms. Patients will show sore throat, difficulty in swallowing, fever, etc., which belong to the reaction of immune stress. However, if the patient has repeated attacks of pharyngitis, it is easy to trigger the body to produce its own immune response, involving the patient’s kidneys and producing a series of symptoms. Patients may develop acute nephritis, some patients may also develop myocarditis, and other immune system-related diseases. Patients are advised to exercise more and strengthen their resistance to avoid recurrent pharyngitis, which can trigger the development of kidney disease.
