Adverse effects of uterine fibroids during pregnancy?

Possible complications during pregnancy: 1. Submucosal fibroids affect the implantation of embryo and placenta formation, resulting in miscarriage and even infertility. 2.Uterine fibroids increase rapidly with the increase of gestational weeks, and ischemic degeneration and necrosis occurs in the central part of the fibroids, and pregnant women show limited abdominal pain with fever, nausea, vomiting, and elevated blood picture. 3.If the placenta is attached to the myoma site, the chance of bleeding and placental abruption will increase during pregnancy. 4.Multiple fibroids will affect the contraction of the uterus and increase the risk of preterm labor. During labor, the contractions may be uncoordinated and require contraction hormone to strengthen contractions, and the risk of bleeding increases due to poor contraction of the uterus after delivery. 5. Large fibroids can restrict the pelvic space and affect the growth and development of the fetus, resulting in intrauterine growth restriction and abnormal fetal position.
