There is usually no significant difference between a cough from bronchitis and a cough from pneumonia, because both bronchitis or pneumonia are respiratory infections caused by pathogens. The difference is that pneumonia can present with a fever, while bronchitis can present without a fever. When bronchitis is present, there is not necessarily inflammation in the lungs, but if pneumonia is present, infection of the bronchial tubes is a given. The treatment for both is also essentially the same; in the absence of phlegm and with a particularly bad cough, cough suppressants can be used so as not to interfere with life and rest. If the phlegm is more, try to still be based on anti-infection with phlegm drugs, drink more water, more positions to expel phlegm.
