Adenomyosis refers to adenomyosis of the uterus. It is found that prolonged untreated adenomyosis may lead to menstrual changes, worsening progressive dysmenorrhea, infertility and other adverse consequences.

3. Infertility: Along with the aggravation of symptoms, endocrine disorders and menstrual disorders occur, thus leading to infertility.
