How to treat thrush

Thrush is caused by fungal (commonly Candida albicans) infection and overproliferation, and commonly occurs in infants and young children. The immune system of infants is not yet fully developed, and the baby eats several times a day, making it difficult to clean the mouth adequately, resulting in fungal growth in the mouth. For babies with milk teeth, their parents should help them brush their teeth every morning and evening, using a finger toothbrush. In addition, the acidic environment formed in the mouth after eating should be corrected in time, such as drinking a small amount of water, or using weak alkaline water (2% baking soda solution) for cleaning and rubbing. If it is more obvious, you should take your baby to an oral mucosa clinic and follow the doctor’s instructions to treat it with appropriate medication. Thrush can heal on its own if the symptoms are mild, but if the symptoms are more severe, it is best to choose some medication, which is often the most effective. Patients can seek the help of a medical professional. According to their own situation, choose the most exact treatment method, so that the disease can be cured earlier, without having to be too nervous.
