Why is there a patch of red blood in the right eye?

Sheet-like hemorrhage under the conjunctiva or at the white of the eye, which usually belongs to the manifestation of subconjunctival hemorrhage, is a very common eye symptom in ophthalmology, usually due to the rupture of the subconjunctival capillaries caused by various reasons. There are many causes, such as common eye trauma, conjunctival inflammation, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, nephritis and so on. It is sometimes difficult to find a specific cause for this condition. The treatment of this disease can be given as local cold compresses within 24 hours in the early stages, and then changed to local hot compresses 2-3 times a day for 10-15 minutes after 48 hours, which can promote the absorption of subconjunctival hemorrhage. Symptoms usually return to normal in about 7-12 days. If the disease gets progressively worse or more widespread, a thorough examination is recommended to find out if there is any systemic disease.
