Symptoms of organophosphorus poisoning are as follows: I. Acute poisoning: The onset of acute poisoning is closely related to the type of poison, dose, route of invasion and body state (e.g., fasting or eating). Oral poisoning in 10 minutes to 2 hours onset; about 30 minutes after inhalation; skin absorption after about 2 to 6 hours onset. After poisoning, acute cholinergic crisis occurs, manifested as: 1. Muscarinic-like symptoms: smooth muscle spasm: pupil narrowing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dyspnea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea; sphincter relaxation: urinary and fecal incontinence; increased glandular secretion: profuse sweating, tearing, and salivation; marked increase in airway secretion: manifestation of cough, shortness of breath, dry or wet rales in both lungs, and pulmonary edema in severe cases. 2, Nicotinic-like symptoms: muscle fiber tremor, even the whole body muscle tonic spasm, may also appear muscle weakness or paralysis, respiratory muscle paralysis caused by respiratory failure or cessation. Increased blood pressure and cardiac arrhythmia.3. Central nervous system symptoms: dizziness, headache, irritability, delirium, convulsions and coma, some death by respiratory and circulatory failure.4. Local damages: allergic dermatitis, skin blisters or exfoliative dermatitis; conjunctival congestion and pupil narrowing in the case of contamination of the eyes. Second, delayed polyneuropathy: acute severe and moderate organophosphorus pesticide (methamidophos, dichlorvos, lego and trichlorfon, etc.) poisoning of patients with symptoms disappeared 2 to 3 weeks after the emergence of delayed neurological damage, the performance of sensory, motor polyneuropathy, mainly involved in the end of the limbs, paralysis of the lower extremities, quadriplegic muscular atrophy and so on. Third, intermediate syndrome: mostly occurring in 24 to 96 hours after poisoning by heavy organophosphorus pesticides (methamidophos, dichlorvos, chlormequat, monocrotophos) and patients with insufficient dosage of compounding drugs, there is a sudden weakness of flexor cervicalis and proximal muscles of the limbs, with blepharoplasty, ocular adduction obstacle, facial paralysis and respiratory muscle paralysis, which causes ventilation obstruction respiratory distress or failure and may lead to death.
