Is it normal to have 16 teeth at 2 weeks old?

Whether or not 16 teeth are normal at two weeks of age is related to the growth of the front teeth and the relationship between the tooth germs in the mouth and the jawbone. If the teeth erupt in sequence and are not accidentally lost, it is generally normal. Milk teeth erupt between the age of half a year and about two and a half years, and the number of milk teeth is 20 when they are fully erupted, but the exact time of eruption is related to the development of the individual’s body. At around two years of age, the teeth are usually not fully erupted, there may be 16 teeth in the mouth, there are still four tooth germs left in the mouth in the X-ray examination, the gums of the back teeth can be seen in the oral examination to be white and full, and the tooth germs will usually erupt slowly. If the teeth are accidentally lost due to dental trauma or caries at or before 2 years of age, then 16 teeth in the mouth is not normal.
