A thyroid ultrasound that suggests a cystic occupying lesion in the thyroid gland. This often suggests a cyst or cystic adenoma of the thyroid. If the aspect ratio is not greater than one, and the border is clear and not very large, and the cystic occupational lesion is less than 2 cm, further treatment is usually not needed. You can check the thyroid ultrasound every six months to a year, and if necessary, check the thyroid function, including FT3, FT4 and TSH.
