Breast fibroid surgery does not require suture removal for absorbable sutures with parallel cosmetic sutures, or for ordinary silk sutures. Whether or not to remove stitches for breast fibroid surgery is mainly based on the suture material and method, for surgical incisions with absorbable sutures, no stitches need to be removed. Most breast fibroid surgeries are usually performed with cosmetic sutures, and in most cases, absorbable sutures are used to close the incisions. Because of the absorbable nature of the sutures, no stitches need to be removed when absorbable sutures are used in parallel with cosmetic sutures. When the incision is made with regular silk sutures or other types of non-absorbable sutures, suture removal is required after surgery. For breast fibroid surgery after the use of removal of stitches also need to be based on the doctor’s recommendations.
