Screening for people at high risk of stroke

  Risk factors associated with ischemic stroke 1, hypertension or taking antihypertensive drugs 2, hypercholesterolemia or taking lipid-lowering drugs 3, diabetes 4, atrial fibrillation or other heart disease 5, apnea 6, history of stroke or heart disease in the immediate family (father, mother, siblings, children) 7, smoking 8, heavy alcohol consumption 9, lack of physical activity, 3 times a week 10. Diet containing too much saturated fatty acids or fats 11. Obesity 12. Age over 50 years 13. Male 14. Frequent bleeding, swelling and pain of gums, gum recession, loose teeth, loss of teeth 15. History of ischemic eye disease 16. Sudden deafness If you have 2 or 3 or more of the above risk factors, stroke screening is recommended.
