Sports are good for children’s development

  U.S. parents allow their children to change sports often to enhance their interest in sports; French children aspire to become windsurfers, skiers, extreme athletes abound; Australia’s children’s favorite sports are swimming, cycling, Australian rugby, etc.. The Australian “Sports Council” also tells parents, through the development of policies, not to blame or scold their children when they lose a game, but to focus on the development of their children’s interests.  
  In our country, the various cultural examinations have put children firmly on the desk, basically not much time for physical exercise. Now some cities “young into small” to pass this pressure to the kindergarten, many kindergartens in addition to the usual game class, but also to math, language, English and other classes, children do not have time for sports.
  At present, kindergartens in China do carry out a variety of forms and rich content of physical activities, but the problems of children’s physical education should not be underestimated.
  First, the main problems of children’s physical education
  1, children’s physical education concept is relatively backward
  Kindergarten teachers pay too much attention to safety factors, children’s sports load is not enough to promote physical fitness, do not allow children to engage in risky activities, do not pay much attention to the overall training of children, the concept of education is not scientific enough, there is no more suitable for children to engage in the project. Children are a group without the ability to protect themselves, therefore, they are prone to safety accidents in sports activities and children’s free activities. In physical education, teachers usually use the method of compressing children’s physical activity time to avoid risks due to safety factors. Therefore, this also directly leads to a certain extent to the value of physical activities can not play properly, which restricts the healthy development of children’s physical quality.
  2, children’s physical education objectives are not clear
  In children’s physical education, there is mostly over-emphasis on children’s interests and neglect of the cultivation of basic motor skills, which makes the classroom atmosphere lively and vivid on the surface, but in fact the physical quality of children is not developed, and there is a growing trend. In the actual operation process, each kindergarten does not follow the requirements and needs of children’s physical and mental development to implement.
  3. The teaching content is boring and single, but not very attractive
  The teaching content is mostly based on music, children’s songs and other education, and physical education activities are limited in time. At the same time, in the limited physical education process, it is mostly based on simple items, and the method of developing basic motor skills is also boring and single, which affects the teaching effect and quality.
  Second, children’s physical education has great benefits for children’s physical health
  1, so that children’s height increased significantly
  Children’s sports can enhance the function of the child’s body organs and systems, making the child physically fit. Children can grow taller because of the growth of bones throughout the body, especially the growth of long bones, because the epiphyseal cartilage at both ends of the long bones is the growth point of the bone. Due to sports, blood circulation is improved, bone tissue gets more nutrition, and at the same time, sports play a mechanical stimulation role on the bones. Therefore, it can promote the acceleration of bone growth, so that the child’s height subsequently increased. In the former Soviet Union, Germany and other countries, infant swimming is more widely carried out, infants participate in swimming, the body growth rate is faster than the average child.
  2, so that children’s muscles gradually plump
  Can exercise the child’s limbs, increase muscle strength, so that the muscles gradually become plump up. If strengthen the abdominal muscles, waist muscles, back muscles, limb support, and strengthen the exercise of lower limb muscle strength and some conditioned reflex training before the development of various movements of children, so that children through these tactile stimulation and muscle training, in the brain center to establish a connection, can make children’s movements become sensitive, muscles become developed.

  Exercise can promote cardiorespiratory function, so that blood circulation is accelerated, metabolism is strengthened, the heart muscle is developed and contraction is strengthened. Children in the exercise process, muscle activity needs to consume a lot of oxygen and expel more carbon dioxide, so the respiratory organs need to double the work, over time, the expansion of the range of thoracic activity, lung capacity, lung ventilation per minute (i.e., the ventilation per minute) increased, enhancing the function of the respiratory organs, and has a good effect on the prevention of common respiratory diseases.
  4, so that children’s gastrointestinal capacity to enhance
  Exercise can make children’s gastrointestinal peristalsis increase, gastrointestinal digestive capacity is enhanced, appetite increases, complete absorption of nutrients, so that children develop better. Children who are anorexic and refuse to eat need exercise more.
  5.Make children’s nervous system normal
  Can promote the development of the nervous system. When exercising, the coordinated movement of the various parts of the body are under the unified control and regulation of the nervous system, therefore, in the physical exercise at the same time, the nervous system itself also undergoes exercise and improve. Such as a variety of gymnastics, can make infants from disorderly movements, and gradually formed and developed into differentiated, purposeful, coordinated movements, which is a good regulation of the nervous system.
  6.Make children’s physical quality improve
  Can prevent diseases. Children play more outdoor sports, receive sunlight, air and water bath, can gradually withstand the stimulation of external environmental changes, the skin and respiratory mucous membranes are constantly exercised, enhancing its tolerance, the cerebral cortex also formed a conditioned reflex to the stimulation of cold and heat. When natural factors change, children can respond quickly and accurately to keep their bodies in balance with the external environment, so they are less likely to catch a cold or suffer from heatstroke.
