What are the symptoms of acne?

Acne is mainly characterized by symptoms such as conical papules, inflammatory papules and nodules. Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease, mainly related to sex hormone levels, excessive sebum secretion, and abnormal perifollicular keratinization. Patients mainly present with conical pimples, often accompanied by sebum overflow, which are found in areas with dense sebaceous glands, such as the cheeks, jaw, chest and shoulders. As the condition worsens, larger inflammatory papules appear on the surface of the skin, and nodules or cysts may develop. When squeezed, the bacterial sebum mixture in the acne is released and may cause damage to the surrounding skin. If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for medical examination to clarify the cause of the condition and treat it under the guidance of a doctor to avoid aggravation of the condition.
