What’s wrong with the tingling in the right side of my chest?

Patients who experience stabbing pain in the right side of the chest may choose whether or not to visit the hospital depending on the extent and nature of the pain. There are many causes of stabbing pain in the right side of the chest, such as injuries to the chest wall, rib fractures, sternal fractures and diseases such as intercostal neuritis, and then diseases of the pleura, such as pleurisy or pleural tumors. Finally diseases of the lungs, such as pneumonia or bronchitis, can also have clinical manifestations of stabbing pain in the chest. The stabbing pain is considered to be caused by injury, as the nature of the pain in the chest caused by trauma is stabbing, whereas the pain caused by other diseases is predominantly distending or aching. If the symptoms occur more frequently, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital for further consultation, and the diagnosis can be confirmed by a CT or MRI of the chest.
