Diarrhea is also known as diarrhea in traditional Chinese medicine. Clinical formulas commonly used to treat diarrhea include Pueraria Mirifica Scutellariae Rhizoma Coptidis Soup and Baohe Pill.
1. Ge Gen Huang Baicalin Huang Huang Tang: Ge Gen Huang Baicalin Huang Huang Tang is mainly composed of Ge Gen, Scutellaria baicalensis, Rhizoma Coptidis and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae. Its main effect is to clear the intestines and benefit dampness.
It can be used for treating diarrhea and abdominal pain, rapid diarrhea, or diarrhea that is not refreshing, yellow-brown stool, foul smell, burning in the anus, or heat and thirst, short yellow urine, yellow and greasy moss, and slippery pulse.
Pork, cold water, seaweed and woad are contraindicated with this drug. Adverse reactions are not clear.
2. Boho Pill: It is mainly composed of Shenqu, Shanzha, Poria, Semen Xie, Chenpi, Lycopodium, Forsythia. Its main effect is to eliminate food stagnation (promote food digestion).
It is used for treating diarrhea with loose stools, smelling like rotten eggs, accompanied by undigested food, abdominal pain and intestinal tinnitus, relief of pain after diarrhea, and lack of appetite, with thick and greasy moss, and slippery pulse. Alcohol and spicy food are forbidden after taking the medicine. Adverse reactions are small, but some patients may have gastrointestinal reactions, such as nausea and abdominal distension.
