Early stage gastric cancer actually means that the lesion part only occurs in the mucosa or submucosa and has not metastasized to other places or has appeared at the base. It usually has nothing to do with the size of the tumor foreign body, and whether metastasis of lymph nodes has occurred. Generally speaking, there are two methods for the treatment of early gastric cancer. One, endoscopic treatment, by putting an endoscope on the patient as a way to perform mucosal peeling surgery or perform submucosal resection. However, if cancerous tissues are found during the surgery and have actually invaded the muscular layer, we need to perform further surgery required for patients with progressive gastric cancer. Second, surgical treatment, for cancer that has not metastasized to lymph nodes, local gastrectomy can be performed. If it has metastasized to lymph, radical surgery for gastric cancer is needed.
