Double lung field texture increase thickening is through chest radiographs, CT and other imaging tests found due to the formation of pulmonary blood vessels, bronchial tubes dendritic shadow widening and increasing manifestations, often suggesting inflammation, bronchial dilatation and so on.
Through the X-ray penetration of the body, different tissues have different transmittance, and the dendritic shadows in the lungs radiate outward from the lung gate, mainly formed by branches of the pulmonary artery, bronchial tubes, lymphatic vessels and a small amount of interstitial tissues, which is medically known as lung texture. When the blood vessels, bronchial tubes and lymph nodes in the lungs change, it may lead to an increase in lung texture and thickening.
Common causes of increased texture in the lungs include: physiological causes such as aging, obesity, and smoking; bronchial-type increased texture due to bronchitis and bronchiectasis; vascular causes such as coronary artery disease and rheumatoid artery disease; and lymph node causes such as pneumoconiosis and lung cancer.
Therefore, there are many possible causes of increased texture and coarsening of both lung fields, and it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time, to clarify the causes of the disease with the patient’s symptoms, signs and underlying diseases, and to treat the disease actively.
