Blood stasis and phlegm coagulation can be seen in localized lumps and tingling, or numbness of limbs, purple and dark tongue or spots, etc. Blood stasis and phlegm coagulation is a kind of evidence in Chinese medicine, and the specific manifestations need to be seen according to the specific disease. Blood stasis and phlegm coagulation refers to phlegm and blood stasis fighting with each other to localized lumps and tingling, numbness of limbs, mostly accompanied by chest tightness and tugging pain, boredom, irritability, or menstrual irregularities such as dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, or numbness of limbs, impotence, with a dark red or purple tongue, thin greasy moss, and a slippery or thin astringent pulse. Blood stasis and phlegm coagulation can be seen in laryngeal mute (a disease mainly characterized by hoarseness of voice) with the addition and subtraction of Huixiahuayu Tang; in breast nucleus (benign tumors occurring in the breast) with the addition and subtraction of Piaoshan and Taohong Siwu Tang.
