Acne is acne vulgaris, a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the sebaceous gland units of hair follicles. There are more types of acne, which can be categorized into five types according to clinical symptoms: acne-type, papule-type, pustule-type, cyst-type and nodule-type.
1. Acne type: the lesions are mostly conical papules consistent with hair follicles, such as whiteheads (closed acne) and blackheads (open acne), the former for the yellow sebaceous keratinous embolus, while the latter is oxidized by the sebaceous embolus.
2. Papular type: Inflammatory papules may be formed when acne worsens, with small pustules at the top, and accompanied by elevated skin temperature and pain.
3. Pustular: If the inflammation of papular acne worsens, papular acne becomes pustular acne, with pustules appearing on the lesions, which can be accompanied by severe pain.
4. Cystic: Cystic acne has a fluctuating sensation when squeezed, and may even turn into pus and form abscesses, which often form sinus tracts and scarring after rupture.
5. Nodules: Acne can form dark red nodules of varying sizes, which are large, firm, painful lumps under the surface of the skin.
Acne patients should go to the hospital in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor for standardized treatment, do not use medication without authorization.
