What is usually the case with UTIs

Urethritis is a urinary tract infection in which the patient can show symptoms of urinary sensation, i.e., frequent, urgent and painful urination. The main etiology is bacterial infection, with Gram-negative bacilli being the most common. In cases of prostatic hyperplasia, urinary stones or tumors, vesicoureteral reflux, polycystic kidney, renal pelvis and ureteral malformation, pregnancy and decreased immunity of the body, the infection can be caused by retrograde or blood flow route. Patients with simple lower urinary tract infections mainly present with urinary sensation symptoms and may also present with hematuria. In addition to urinary tract infection, patients with upper urinary tract infection may also show high fever, chills, general malaise, headache, nausea, and back pain.
