The time to expel urinary stones is related to the size of the stones and the location of the stones in the patient, and cannot be generalized. Usually, if the urinary stones are less than 6mm, they can be expelled in about 2-4 weeks by taking stone removal granules and hot gels, drinking more water, doing more jumping exercises and climbing stairs. If the size of ureteral stone is large, 0.8-1cm, usually conservative treatment cannot expel it, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy can be done, and at the same time take the above operation, usually in about 2-4 weeks gradually expel the stone out of the body. If the stone is larger, or if the patient has some narrowing of the ureter, it may form an obstruction in the ureter, and surgery is required to remove it. In addition, patients usually feel severe pain in the lower back, groin, genitals and inner thighs during the stone removal process, which needs to be observed.
