What is the difference between a cyst and a tumor

Cysts are usually slow-growing and show gradual enlargement, whereas tumors usually increase rapidly and have a shorter course. Cysts are usually unilateral, movable, with a smooth surface and often without pelvic fluid. Tumors are bilateral, cystic solid on ultrasound, not smooth surface with nodular foci, accompanied by obvious pelvic and abdominal fluid, and bloody. ultrasound suggests that the cyst is a liquid dark area, there may be intervals of light band, but the edge is clear. In malignant tumors, there are disorganized light clusters and light spots within the fluid dark area, and the mass has unclear borders and spreads invasively in all directions, as well as abundant blood flow signals.
