The drug may cause gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, diarrhea, stomach upset, as well as rash, itching, dizziness. This drug is contraindicated in hemorrhagic diseases, pregnant women, women during menstruation and yin deficiency and fire type stroke. 2. Cerebral An Capsule: made of Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Saffron and other traditional Chinese medicines, it has the functions of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, benefiting qi and clearing collaterals and is used for the treatment of qi deficiency and blood stasis, which is seen as acute onset of the disease, hemiplegia, crookedness of the mouth and tongue, strong tongue with outpronounced speech, numbness of the side of the body, shortness of breath and tiredness, salivation at the corners of the mouth (drooling), swelling of the hands and feet. The adverse effects of this drug are not clear, hemorrhagic stroke should be used with caution. 3. Hua Tuo Zaizaoyuan (Hua Tuo Zai Zao Pill): made of Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, ice tablet and other traditional Chinese medicines, it has the functions of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, resolving phlegm and clearing up collaterals, and promoting circulation of qi and relieving pain (relieving pain through regulating the qi mechanism of the human body), it is used in treating recovery from stroke with phlegm and blood stasis blocking the collaterals and the sequelae of stroke, which is characterized by hemiplegia, clonic and numbness, crookedness of the eyes and mouth, and unclear speech.
