What causes mediastinal tumors of the lungs

Mediastinal tumors are generally referred to as mediastinal tumors, and mediastinal tumors are further classified as primary and secondary. The specific cause of primary mediastinal tumors has not been clarified, while secondary mediastinal tumors are usually caused by metastasis of lung cancer and other cancers.
Mediastinal tumor is a common clinical term for a variety of tumors in the mediastinum, which is divided into primary mediastinal tumor and secondary mediastinal tumor according to different causes. Primary mediastinal tumors, whose causes are still unclear and rare, can occur at any age, but most of them are benign tumors with a good prognosis.
However, secondary mediastinal tumors are usually caused by malignant tumors in the vicinity of the mediastinum, such as lung cancer, and the condition is more serious, and the cancer cells have metastasized to the mediastinum. Secondary mediastinal tumors are more malignant and will press on the surrounding organs of the patient, resulting in symptoms such as cough, dyspnea, dysphagia and chest pain.
It is recommended that patients diagnosed with mediastinal tumor should seek medical treatment as soon as possible to avoid delay.
