Almost all types of sports are allowed as long as they are properly equipped for safety and accompanied by an adult. However, some high-risk activities, such as climbing, rock climbing, diving, and scuba diving, are best avoided. A lifeguard should be present when swimming. For children who suffer from dystonic episodes, it is best to wear protective helmets and knee and elbow pads at all times to minimize injuries.
