What to do if your teeth fall out

Patients with tooth loss can take the following treatment measures: 1. If the tooth is lost intact by external force, apply saline to rinse the isolated tooth within two hours, and after strict disinfection of the alveolar socket, reset the tooth according to the occlusal relationship and ligate it for fixation. Avoid gnawing on hard objects with the affected tooth, and if necessary, adjust the opposing teeth. If the tooth root is stable, the arch splint can be removed. 2. If suffering from serious periodontal disease, the alveolar bone is obviously shrinking, causing the tooth to fall out by itself, the alveolar socket can be filled with bone powder and periosteum to increase the width and height of the alveolar ridge, and the implant denture restoration will be performed after three months. If the teeth on both sides of the missing tooth site appear to be mildly loose, a movable denture can also be made for restoration.
