Interventional operations in patients with leiomyosarcoma. The first is the routine disinfection of the right inguinal region after the patient lies supine on the operating table, followed by local anesthesia. The second is to establish a vascular channel after puncturing the right femoral artery, select a suitable catheter and guidewire, and enter the bilateral uterine arteries under the guidance of DSA machine, respectively. The angiogram shows the location, size, number of myomas and blood supply vessels of the tissues near the tumor. Thirdly, the embolic agent is injected into the blood supplying arteries of the myoma via the catheter under the guidance of the DSA machine. After completion of embolization, the angiography is reviewed to confirm complete embolization of the myoma vessels, the catheter is withdrawn, the femoral artery catheter sheath is removed, and local compression is applied to stop the bleeding.
