What types of postpartum dew are there?

  After childbirth, women discharge blood and mucus from the vagina. Generally, the dew can be drained within three weeks after delivery, but if it is still dripping for more than three weeks, it is called “incomplete dew”.  I. What kinds of nightmare are there?  1, red nightmare: the first week after childbirth, the amount of nightmare more, bright red color, containing a large amount of blood, small blood clots and necrotic meconium tissue, called red nightmare. Bloody nightmare lasts three to four days, the amount of uterine bleeding gradually decreases and the plasma increases, transforming into plasma nightmare.  2. The plasma nightmare lasts for about ten days, then the plasma gradually decreases and the white cells increase, turning into white nightmare.  3, white nightmare: Half a month later to within three weeks, the nightmare no longer contains blood, but contains a lot of white blood cells, degenerated meconium, epidermal cells and bacteria, making the nightmare sticky and white, so it is called white nightmare. The white nightmare lasts for three weeks.  In short, the amount of nightmare varies from person to person, with some having more and some having less. Basically, in the first few days after delivery, there will be more blood in the nightmare, so the nightmare will have red or dark red blood clots and a slight fishy smell; on the third or fourth day after delivery, the color of the nightmare will slowly become lighter and browner, called pulpy nightmare; on the tenth day, the nightmare will become white or yellowish white, somewhat similar to leucorrhea, called white nightmare.  Second, how to care for postpartum dew?  1, the postpartum period of less than 50 days absolutely prohibit intercourse; 2, the use of soft paper pads, to be closely disinfected to prevent infection; 3, the dew is reduced, the body tends to recover, the mother should get up and move properly; 4, keep the indoor air circulation, to get rid of the foul air, pay attention to warmth, avoid cold; 5, bed rest and recuperation, avoid emotional excitement, to maintain a relaxed mood; 6, adhere to breastfeeding, conducive to 7, strengthen nutrition, diet should be light, avoid cold, spicy, greasy, indigestible food, eat more fresh vegetables, pig liver, brown sugar, etc., brown sugar is limited to 7 to 10 days, too long will increase the dew, which is not conducive to the recovery of the uterus.
