1. Acute laryngitis: Infection, trauma, adverse physical and chemical factors stimulation and improper or excessive use of the voice can cause this disease, lesions in the vocal folds are often manifested as mucosal congestion, edema, ulceration and crusting and other characteristics, hoarseness, laryngeal pain and cough and other symptoms can occur.
2. Vocal polyps, vocal cord nodules: these diseases can lead to hoarseness, the cause of the disease is mostly related to improper vocalization, excessive vocalization. Often for the vocal folds of edema or hematoma by mechanization, the formation of epithelial limited thickening, fibrin deposition and tissue degeneration.
3. Vocal cord paralysis: cerebral artery thrombosis, craniocerebral tumor, epilepsy and other craniocerebral lesions, thyroid surgery involving the recurrent laryngeal nerve and cervical trauma, as well as nasopharyngeal, esophageal, mediastinal, and pulmonary tumors can cause the disease. Abnormalities in the structure and function of the central or peripheral recurrent laryngeal nerve are caused, leading to paralysis of the vocal cords and hoarseness of the voice.
