The boogers may be caused by physiological factors, such as infancy or frequent exposure to dust; to exclude physiological factors, the main consideration of disease, the main causes include upper respiratory tract infections, allergic rhinitis, dry rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis, and nasal tumors and so on. 1. Physiological factors: (1) Age factor: early infants and young children with incomplete development of the nasal cavity, there will be a lot of secretions and accumulation of performance, causing corresponding changes. (2) Frequent exposure to dust: the surrounding environmental conditions are deviant, the amount of dust is large, excessive exposure will cause increased nasal secretion and dust accumulation, resulting in corresponding changes. 2. Pathologic factors: (1) Upper respiratory tract infection, allergic rhinitis: the increase of nasal mucosal secretion will also cause corresponding changes. (2) Dry rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis: the nasal mucosa is dry, and the mucus dries up and causes the corresponding condition. (3) Nasal tumors: nasal tumors can cause stimulation of the surrounding mucosa causing increased secretions and accumulation of foreign bodies, which can also cause corresponding changes. There are many other causes of increased boogers, which require timely medical treatment and standardized treatment under the guidance of clinicians.
