The full name of GERD is gastroesophageal reflux disease, and its remedies are generally not scientific and are not effective. GERD can be treated with medication and surgery. 1. Drug treatment: Since the common direct damage factors of this disease are gastric acid and pepsin, inhibiting gastric acid becomes the basic treatment drug, and the commonly used drugs are cimetidine, omeprazole and other drugs. Gastrointestinal stimulating drugs, such as domperidone and itopride, can increase the pressure of the circular muscle bundle at the end of the esophagus, improve esophageal peristalsis, and promote gastric emptying, so as to reduce gastroduodenal reflux and shorten the exposure time of gastroduodenal contents in the esophagus. 2. Surgical treatment: Laparoscopic fundoplication and endoscopic treatment are available. Laparoscopic fundoplication is the most commonly used anti-reflux surgery to stop the reflux of gastroduodenal contents into the esophagus. The efficacy of anti-reflux surgery is comparable to that of proton pump acid suppressants, but postoperative complications may occur, and it is indicated for those who have failed to respond to medication or are unwilling to take medication for a long period of time. As for endoscopic treatment, the endoscopic treatment means currently used for this disease are mainly categorized into radiofrequency treatment and endoscopic injection treatment. In addition, it is recommended that patients with GERD go to the hospital in time to avoid delay.
