Types of Premature Ejaculation in Chinese Medicine

According to TCM, premature ejaculation can be categorized into Liver Meridian Damp-Heat (Liver Meridian feeling Damp-Heat) syndrome, Heart-Spleen Weakness (Weakness of Heart and Spleen) syndrome, Phase-Fire Paranoia syndrome, and Kidney-Qi Non-Solidification syndrome. Premature ejaculation is mostly caused by internal injuries of emotions, dampness and heat, overindulgence in sexual intercourse, and chronic illness. Patients with Liver Meridian Damp-Heat syndrome manifest premature ejaculation, easy to lift the penis, accompanied by bitter mouth and dry throat, chest tightness and dystocia (pain in the area of coercion and ribs), wet and itchy scrotum, and yellow and turbid urine. Patients with Heart and Spleen Deficiency Syndrome exhibit premature ejaculation, palpitations and palpitations with anxiety (intense heartbeat and panic), forgetfulness and dreaminess, poor appetite, abdominal distension and loose stools (thin and unshaped feces), and fatigue (mental exhaustion and physical weakness). Patients with Phase Fire Paranoia Syndrome manifest premature ejaculation, easy lifting of yang, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (feeling of soreness and weakness in the lumbar and knee regions), five heart-heat (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of being irritated by heat in the heart and chest), and hot flashes and night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and stopping of sweating after waking up). Patients with Kidney qi failure syndrome manifest premature ejaculation and spermatorrhea, loss of libido, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, long and clear urine, nocturia, and a white complexion. If you have any related conditions, it is recommended to be treated under the guidance of a professional physician, and not blindly self-medication.
