Is normal glycated hemoglobin diabetes

A normal glycosylated hemoglobin does not usually mean that the patient has diabetes, but some patients may be in pre-diabetes or early diabetes and need to have the relevant tests done to clarify the diagnosis. The normal value of glycosylated hemoglobin is usually 3-6%, which represents the average blood sugar level of the body in the past 2-3 months and is usually not diabetes. However, if the patient is accompanied by high blood sugar, excessive drinking, excessive eating and other related diabetic symptoms, or if the patient is in the early stage of diabetes and has not yet developed related symptoms and is more worried, it is recommended to go to the endocrinology department to improve the related examination to clarify the diagnosis. If the patient is in the early stage of diabetes mellitus, he/she should be given comprehensive treatment accordingly. In addition, patients are advised to pay attention to diet control, strictly control the intake of carbohydrates and high-calorie foods, and strengthen exercise.
