Round red spots that do not hurt or itch may be caused by pityriasis rosea, congenital hemangioma, and stage II syphilis rash.
1. pityriasis rosea: the etiology is unknown, may be related to viral infection, mostly in the spring and fall season, manifested as oval round light red or yellowish-brown furfuraceous scaly spots, most of them do not have self-conscious symptoms.
2. Congenital hemangioma: it belongs to the congenital abnormal proliferation of blood vessels and vascular endothelium, and it is a benign tumor, which can occur in any part of the body, and it manifests itself as light red or purplish-red plaques, without itching and pain.
3. Stage II syphilis rash: it is a disease caused by the infection of syphilis spirochete, which is mainly transmitted by sexual contact. Due to the lack of standardized treatment, syphilis rash will appear after entering the second stage, which can be manifested as a red patchy rash or maculopapular rash appearing all over the body, and even on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet, which can be painless and itchy.
