Does the more you sweat while running, the more fat you burn?

In the era of “thin” as the beauty, weight loss is always the theme of the times. There are many ways to lose weight, and exercise to lose weight is recognized by everyone, running is the most common way to exercise to lose weight. In the process of running, the body will sweat a lot, so in a lot of sweat at the same time, the fat will also be consumed with sweat discharge? Is it possible to achieve the effect of weight loss through running? I believe this is the most concerned issue for runners.

As we all know, people will sweat when they are hot. When running, the metabolic ability of people will be enhanced, the energy storage material in the body will turn into heat after metabolism, the body temperature of people rises, and sweat glands will release sweat. When the sweat evaporates, it lowers the core temperature, keeping the body temperature as close as possible to 37°C where the body feels most comfortable. If sweating is not timely, overheating can occur, leading to fainting, heat stroke, and even death. This shows that it is important for the body to sweat. But what we want to know today is whether the body’s fat is also consumed in large quantities during the process of sweating? The answer is not, and here’s why: Under normal circumstances, sweating is a reflex activity, and the secretion of sweat glands can be caused by warm stimuli or mental tension. When heat causes blood vessels to dilate, the water in the blood transfers heat to the surface of the skin and then evaporates with sweat, transferring heat to the surrounding environment. In hot environments, the body can sweat as much as 8-12 liters per day. These lost water, indeed, can make the number on your weight scale a little smaller, but this is only temporary, as long as the timely replenishment of water, the weight will go back up. In other words, the sweat that people produce during running is mainly water, not fat consumption. Sweating more, not necessarily fat consumption is more. The real weight loss should be fat reduction, appropriate exercise every day, consume a certain amount of calories, so as to achieve effective weight loss.

The actual fact is that you will be able to get a lot more than just a couple of days to get a lot more than just a couple of days. Running can indeed consume a certain amount of calories, which is beneficial for weight loss, but this has little to do with how much you sweat. Weight loss still requires the consumption of more calories in order to reduce the fat on the body.
