Are there side effects of closed treatment for tendinitis?

Closed treatment of tenosynovitis usually has certain side effects, the side effects include elevated blood sugar, obesity, ischemic necrosis of the femoral head, damage to the tendon, etc., as follows: First, elevated blood sugar, obesity: patients will have short-term elevated blood sugar, but also obesity may occur, appearing full-moon face, buffalo back, and even acne. Second, ischemic necrosis of the femoral head: long-term repeated use of closed treatment will also cause ischemic necrosis of the femoral head, but its incidence is low. Third, damage to the tendon: although closed treatment can eliminate local inflammation, edema, and restore the sliding of the tendon, but it can also damage the tendon to a certain extent. Closed treatment of tenosynovitis, if too much use, will cause spontaneous rupture of the tendon, the patient will have to use surgical treatment to rebuild the tendon. Therefore, the number of times and course of closed treatment should be strictly controlled, otherwise it will produce serious side effects and is not conducive to the recovery of the condition, generally speaking, no more than three times a year.
