How can I prevent stroke from happening in my life?

Stroke, also known as stroke, is a neurological deficit caused by the narrowing, blockage or rupture of a cerebral artery that ensures the supply of blood vessels to the brain. With the improvement of people’s living conditions, lifestyle changes and the arrival of an aging population, stroke has become the most important disease that endangers the health and lives of middle-aged and elderly people in China, with the “four highs” of high incidence, high disability rate, high mortality rate and high recurrence rate. So how to reduce the risk of cerebrovascular disease? In my opinion, the most effective way to prevent stroke is to establish an active and healthy lifestyle. There are many factors that cause stroke, hypertension is the number one culprit, followed by high blood pressure, high blood sugar, heart disease, heavy drinking, smoking, sedentary, high calorie diet, obesity, etc. These factors are risk factors that can be intervened, and minimizing these risk factors that can be intervened can significantly reduce the incidence and mortality rate of stroke. It is also easy to see from the various causative factors that poor lifestyle is the most important cause of stroke, therefore, a healthy lifestyle is essential for stroke prevention. Studies have shown that smoking and heavy alcohol consumption are the most risk factors for stroke in young people. Smoking increases the risk of stroke by 2 to 3.5 times. Smokers have significantly lower cerebral blood flow compared to nonsmokers, which accelerates cerebral arteriosclerosis and reduces the diastolic function of cerebral blood vessels. The incidence of stroke in alcoholics is four to five times higher than in the general population and is more likely to cause cerebral hemorrhage. People with hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia, modern urban diseases, are more likely to cause strokes. In addition, high work stress, mental tension and excessive fatigue can also aggravate the damage to the human body and lead to the occurrence of stroke. Therefore, to prevent stroke in life, we should do the following: (1) actively prevent and control hypertension, keep blood pressure relatively stable; (2) actively prevent and control hyperlipidemia, diabetes and other diseases; (3) improve poor lifestyle, such as quit smoking, quit drinking; (4) maintain a good state of mind, emotional stability; (5) moderate exercise and physical exercise; (6) reasonable diet, nutritional balance; (7) sufficient (8) Know your health status and take the early symptoms of cerebrovascular disease seriously for early detection and treatment, especially for patients with transient ischemic attack.
